Bittersweet Supper with Filigree Suppers

Filigree Suppers celebrates the arrival of Spring with an evening devoted to the notion of all things bittersweet. Tickets here.

We are thrilled to team up with Pioneer Works, a non-profit art foundation located in Red Hook Brooklyn. The expansive building was originally built in 1866, and now plays host to artist residencies, concerts, classes, and functions as center for science, art and culture.

A custom menu prepared by chef Nahvae Frost of Eleven36 will focus on spring harvest and how bittersweet flavors can be highlighted and tempered with preparation.

Winemaker Woody Hambrecht from Alysian wines will be joining us for a second time to showcase his small batch vermouth and provide expert wine pairings throughout the meal. Natural beauty expert and host of Cosmic Cocktail Party, Jessa Blades, will be mixing up artisan drinks for you to guests to enjoy the garden.

Handmade ceramics by Wynne Noble will be on the table along with linens by Bayith. Artful florals will be provided by Red Hook favorite Saipua.

Ticket price includes 3 course meal, wine parings and one welcome cocktail.

Tax and gratuity included.

**Dietary restrictions accommodated. Please notify us at time of purchase.

All sales are final.

Alysian Wines is handcrafted in Healdsburg, CA.

Maintaining meticulous attention to detail while keeping an open minded, and even sometimes a hands off approach to winemaking, lends to our nuanced libations. We source from veteran growers and off-the-beaten-path vineyards in Sonoma County, Mendocino County, Humboldt County and as far north as Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Woody was born in a house in Anchorage, Alaska and shortly after moved to the Bay Area. Introduced to the wine business at a young age, his interests eventually led him to relocate from NYC to Healdsburg in 2010. In addition to making wines for Alysian Winery, Alysian Vermouth, and Floodgate Wine Co, he oversees grape growing at the Grist Vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley. When he is not at the winery you can find him working in his organic garden with his dogs, pigs and chickens. Or, chances are he is on his GS motorcycle in the wilds of the west coast, exploring far off the beaten path.
