Banana Face Mask

Easy and affordable and feels great!

A banana face mask is a simple, nourishing DIY treatment designed to moisturize and soothe skin using ingredients like mashed ripe bananas (and if you have it- honey and yogurt). Rich in potassium, vitamins A, C, and E, these masks are applied to clean skin for 5–20 minutes, whatever you have time for.

How to Make a Banana Face Mask 

  • Ingredients: 1/2 ripe banana. OPTIONAL: 1 teaspoon raw honey and/or 1 teaspoon yogurt.

  • Method: Mash the banana until smooth. Mix in the honey or yogurt or both!

  • Application: Apply to a clean face, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5–20 minutes.

  • Removal: Rinse thoroughly with warm water and follow with moisturizer or face oil.
